Welcome to the ACVP Errors in Publication Query Submission Portal The American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) has recognized that errors, omissions, or "false claims" in pathology data are becoming increasingly common in scientific publications, especially those that do not routinely include pathologists in their peer review process. The ACVP Advocacy and Policy Committee and Board of Directors have therefore developed a web submission portal that will allow professional scientists with advanced anatomic and/or clinical pathology training to report concerns on substantiative errors in publications – with the ultimate goal of creating a database to gather information to determine the extent of erroneous findings and interpretations related to anatomic and clinical pathology data published in peer reviewed journals.Your feedback and the data gathered from submissions to this web portal will be collated and used to gather the information needed to promote the creation of standards and procedures in an effort to improve the accuracy of published pathology data and interpretation of results in published peer reviewed scientific research. Any data obtained will be maintained strictly in anonymous form and will greatly benefit the advancement of this initiative.
We would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you in advance for your time and participation!
